Welcome to this review of Impact Wrestling’s Bash at The Brewery 2019, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have an entire show held in a brewery. I don’t know why they went for this, but I guess Madison Square Garden isn’t returning their calls. This could be a very interesting venue to wrestle in, as long as everybody resists the urge to have a beer bash battle royal. Okay, let’s watch a bunch of drunks watch some people pretend to beat the snot out of each other at $30 a pop.
Match #1: The Rascalz beat Matthew Palmer, “Dirty” Andy Dalton & Steve O Reno – 6 Man Tag Team Match
This had some nice action, but so does an episode of Family Guy (chicken fight). There was nothing bad here, but nothing great either. Everything went well for what they tried, but this was just a bunch of moves to me.

Welcome to this edition of The Last Week In Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a post-Christmas column dedicated to… the last week in wrestling. I was trying to be clever, but if you’ve ever read any of my stuff on Nerdly, then you know I don’t usually make that far down the track. Also, we’re adding a few new awards to the column, so break out the good china. Well, here comes Santa Claus and an elbow drop from the top turnbuckle. Ho Ho Slam!
Best Promo:
Declaration Of War (Becky Lynch) – On Smackdown, Becky Lynch told anyone listening that she wants to fight Ronda Rousey. There was nothing fancy here, but promos don’t need to be anything but effective to get the job done. I wouldn’t be surprised if Becky and Ronda get the main event of...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have… trees! Also, we have a little bit of wrestling. Like Miss Swann/Swan/Swahooon/screw it always says, “Heeeeeeeee…look-a like a man!”
Match #1: The Hart Foundation (Pillman & Smith) defeated Hughes, Dreamer The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
In impromptu tag team match served as our opening bout on this week’s show. Brian Pillman Jr. and Davey Boy Smith Jr. were in the ring making fun of Barrington Hughes. Tommy Dreamer, who has had enough of Pillman and the Hart Foundation’s disrespectful attitude, immediately came to the ring and offered to team up with Hughes against the two second-generation stars. The match was quickly made by League officials. Hughes had the upper hand in the early going as both Smith and Pillman had no answers for the Caramel Colossus.

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have some excellent matches to get to, so let’s do so.
Match #1: Teddy Hart beat Gringo Loco, Kotto Brazil, El Hijo de La Park and Dezmond Xavier Fatal-Five Way Ladder Match for the Mlw Middleweight Championship The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Hart wasn’t even booked in the match. But in true Teddy Hart fashion, he went ahead and found a way to get in the four-way ladder match. First, he attacked Dezmond Xavier before he could enter the ring. When Kotto Brazil took exception and went to attack Hart outside the ring, Brazil got the worst of the exchange and was helped to the back. Hijo de La Park, Gringo Loco and Xavier all had opportunities to grab the belt during the course of the match,...

Welcome to this edition of The Last Week In Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have lots of wrestling and a little bit of Ted Danson. If it starts to rain, you can stand under Ted’s fore-head and you won’t get wet and that’s wonderful. Let’s just get right to it.

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have some wrestling…hopefully…maybe…baby. It rhymed…I couldn’t resist.
Match #1: Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr & Fenix) beat Rich Swann & Willie Mack The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
Swann and Fenix are evenly matched in the early going. There’s a huge exchange of superkicks as everyone is laid out in the middle of the ring. Swann and Mack hit a double-team bulldog on Pentagon for a near fall. Pentagon launches himself off the top with a huge double foot stomp to Swann! Pentagon hits Mack with the Codebreaker, followed by a huge splash from Fenix for a near fall! Mack hits the Pounce on Pentagon, then flies through the air with a big flip dive to the outside! Fenix hits a springboard corkscrew, taking out everyone on the ramp.

Welcome to this edition of The Last Week In Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have those two WWE Pay Per Views to cover, as well as a lot of terrible WWE television, so go get your bon-bons and kiss your ass good-bye.

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a one match show built around a turkey suit. Yeah, you’ll gobble it up. No, I don’t have a #@!%&!? pun for Thanksgiving (American Thanksgiving), so the gobble thing stands as a real sentence. I could’ve been Tiffany Haddish in Girls Trip. Okay, let’s wrestle, Kessle.
Match #1: (Main Event) Team Fallah vs. Team Drake – 2nd Annual Eli Drake Gravy Train Turkey Trot The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
Gama Singh gets in the ring and Rohit attacks Fallah off the distraction. Fallah hits a double crossbody on Gilbertti and Drake. Fallah takes out everyone with a huge centipede Boston crab! Scarlett Bordeaux comes out to ringside to continue her talent search. Xavier connects with the X19 to Jake! He is looking to fly to the outside when Gama hooks his leg!

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have lots of action to cover, so let’s do so.
Match #1: Killer Kross beat Petey Williams
This was a quick yet brutal match that made Kross look like a vicious sadist. Petey deserves more than just being fed to the latest flavor of the month, but at least Petey is getting on television. Kross seems to be pretty good and certainly brings a different kind of wrestling style to Impact, with more mat work and stiff chops that might be able to chop down a whole forest. Kross even did a spot where he dared Petey to attempt a Canadian Destroyer, but was able to counter the finisher and get the win.
Match #2: Desi Hit Squad beat Km and Fallah Bahh – Tag Team Match
There wasn’t too much to this match,...

I’m Nathan Favel and welcome to my first Impact Wrestling review for Nerdly. As I recently spoke of in my “Opinionated” column concerning the former Tna Wrestling, I have a genuine interest in seeing this company succeed, even if that is just as a good old wrestling fan. With the WWE being more stagnant than ever, it’s important to have another wrestling league survive and thrive. Featuring incredible action, even during the most dire straits that this promotion has ever seen, Tna/Impact has managed to build a unique legacy in professional wrestling that will never be duplicated, for better or for worse. It’s my pleasure to write these reviews for Impact. Let’s jump right into the action!
