- Penned a letter to Wentworth's producers when the series was earmarked for renewal for the character of Reb Keane to be played by someone that was actually trans which causes a minor controversy in the fanbase as other series actor Socratis Otto played trans character Maxine Conway in which he was not trans. Terakes spoke about it in the Wentworth On File book saying that they wanted into the show to portray someone living "authentically" and "real". Terakes was then cast in the career defining role.
