Katrina Kroetch was born in Portland,Oregon to Colleen Kroetch and Tim Faulkner. She is of English (from her paternal grandfather) German, and French descent. Katrina began acting as a child as a member of the Northwest Children's Theater where she had a 2 year internship. At The NW Children's Theater she made her stage debut in a production of "Macbeth" and has been acting since. She appeared in many more productions through her early teens until, at the age of 17, she decided that she wanted to make acting her career. She graduated high school 1 1/2 years early and moved to San Francisco on her own to begin her training and gain experience in a larger city.
She had her TV breakthrough and became SAG/AFTRA Eligible when she auditioned and got a part in 13 Reasons why which was at the time filming in San Francisco area, that part lead her to a number of small TV roles in the following years.
Experience: She has extensive physical acting training and has attended Clown conservatory. She has performed improvise at Second City Hollywood with her troupe she founded called "The Chiquita Bananas". She also has classical training studying Shakespeare at Berkeley Rep, and is educated in the teachings of Richard Boleslavski, Stanislavski, and Meisner.
She has also done several on camera acting classes with Mike Pointer and Tom Logan and been in a few commercials and small films/TV as well.
She has been modeling since 2009 and has worked for Goorin Brothers Hats, Dark Garden Couture, and Nokia. She has modeled in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Venice, and Tokyo.
When she is not performing she's constantly auditioning, reading books on the industry, taking classes and creating new opportunities for herself.
In one week she completed an improvise intensive with Bay Area Theater Sports while filming a lead role on the show Wives with Knives and creating her own website. She is very business savy.
She was in a production of "Timon of Athens" with Theater Rhinoceros which was directed by John fisher in Spring 2015. In Summer 2015 she performed in a play that was in residency at The Exit Theater called "I Saw It" and "Zero Hour". She also performed in Shocktoberfest at the Hypnodrome in Fall 2015.
She likes to keep very busy both on the stage and on camera.
Her special skills involve juggling, target whip cracking, reading music, playing the ukulele, and she is educated in almost all dance styles. Specifically she love ballroom and swing dancing.
She is very reliable, hard working, personable and passionate about acting. She is 100% committed to her acting career.
When she isn't working on her acting career or writing biographies about herself in third person; she enjoys playing with her puppy Wesley, Swing Dancing and exploring Hollywood with her camera.
