Kelsey Bennett is a producer and director. She co-created Under Her Skin with her sister Rémy Bennett, a docuseries chronicling the triumphs and traumas of women artists from the ages of seventeen to seventy-two. The series received high acclaim. One episode, Under Her Skin: Jane Rule Burdine, premiered with Tribeca N.O.W and was shown at both Marfa Film Festival and Original Thinkers Festival in Telluride. In 2019, The Girl Who Loves Roses, another episode from the series, received honorable mention by the Webby Awards. The sister team aka The Bennett Sisters also collaborated on a short documentary, Search to Survive, in collaborations with Tribeca Films for 23andMe profiling the work of a young member of SRBWI (The Southern Rural Black Woman's Initiative for Social Justice). As a photo journalist Kelsey Bennett has worked with artists such as Charles Bradley, Amy Winehouse, Willie Nelson, and Aretha Franklin. She is a regular contributor to Interview Magazine and has worked with Amanda De Cadenet's woman advocacy platform Girl Gaze.
