Lauren Saarimaki is a producer, actress and mental health advocate. Her interest in the film and television industry started in her childhood when she began pursuing an acting career. She is an alumna of TMU's Creative Industries program. Her focus is producing, however she has had the opportunity to work with a multitude of creative organizations. She also has contributed to film sets in roles such as production manager, location manager and production coordinator.
She works as the Director of Operations at Fae Pictures. While working at the company she has had the opportunity to co produce Streams Flow From A River (dir. Christopher Yip) and co produce Queen Tut (dir. Reem Morsi). She hopes to continue to build a career in film and mental health advocacy.
