Eric got his start on stage as a musical theater actor, starring as Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, John Wilkes Booth in Assassins, and Stine in City of Angels, among other characters. He returned to the stage and began screen work in the mid 2010s, studying Meisner and Chekhov techniques, and starring in the short films PIGS and Sunken Holiday, both of which screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Eric has been nominated for several awards as an actor and was a winner for his work as an ensemble member of the series Sides, which he created and produced, and best supporting actor from the Women Making a Scene film competition
He originated the role of Wyatt in the stage play To Fall In Love, written by Jennifer Lane, along with his co-star, Beth Gallagher. After work shopping it around San Diego, they took it to the famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and his performance was recognized as "totally captivating," "deep in feeling and never indulgent," and "astonishingly [natural]."
