- Marco Mintaka is a South African actor known for American Monster (2016), What Lies Beneath (2018) and Hello Au Revoir (2021). He was born on October 18, 1978 in South Africa and is of Mediterranean decent. He is married since 2001 and has a son.
Mintaka's passion for drama first began when he was just seven years old - appearing in school plays, street dramas and magic shows. In 1999 he completed his acting studies through Trinity College, London where he then went on to perform in a number of shows. In 2000, Mintaka was nominated for Best Actor in the Showtime Awards for his lead role in Romeo & Juliet and Best Supporting Actor by the Guild of Speech & Drama South Africa for his role in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me. He is also an award winning Public Speaker and Debater.

- Mintaka studied film-making in the U.K. and directed his first music video "Time Will Tell" featuring Zimbabwean Singer Kudzai Max.
- Mintaka always wanted to pursue his flying dream of being an airline pilot. But after graduating in 1997, chose to become an actor instead. However, the pandemic of 2019 brought his acting career to a standstill. During that time an opportunity arose for him to pursue his flying passion and in 2023 qualified as pilot.
