Michael Bahnmiller is a composer and orchestrator who writes for television, film, and advertisement. He has been fortunate to write music that has been performed/recorded by orchestras and choirs around the world as well as a number of international performers. He has composed music for Academy Award-winning producer Rob Fried (Rudy), as well as for the Library of Congress and for corporate clients who manage millions of customers. As a performer, Michael has sung with the BYU Men's Chorus alongside Brian Stokes Mitchell.
Since arriving in Los Angeles in 2014, Michael has had the opportunity to work on a variety of big budget films and work with some of the finest composers and orchestrators working in film and TV. As an orchestrator and composer, Michael has had the great fortune to assist (and be mentored by) Philip Klein, and as a music preparer, Michael has had the opportunity to work with Conrad Pope and Kevin Kaska, and has worked on films such as The Jungle Book, Independence Day: Resurgence, The BFG, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Jason Bourne, and many others.
Michael has a passion for kayaking, is a voracious reader, and casually plays the duduk (an Armenian woodwind instrument).
