Playing poker, in a Southern Junk Joint, is not the typical activity of a 10-year-old boy, but it was for Gary Revel. He graduated high school in Bonifay, Florida, and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. From the Navy, he was off to Hollywood, California, where he began work in the music, film, and publishing businesses. From Hollywood, he was on to New York City, Memphis, Nashville, and back to Los Angeles. Along the way, he investigated the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. which led him to investigate the assassinations of JFK and RFK. He touched on that, and more, in his memoir, "To Live or Maybe Not". His story has been adapted for screenplay by Frank Burmaster and himself and is in development with Jeff Olm executive producing and Cameron Arnett directing. Many interviews uncovered historic details of what Gary learned during his investigations. Not only, has the public been informed of the thrilling facts, but also, they have an inside look at how covert operations worked with Gary leading such dangerous work. All of this comes alive in the movie, "They Slew the Dreamer: MLK-The Gary Revel Story" and the world will have a ringside seat to one of history's most important and tragic events. The Gary Revel investigation, of the assassination of Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Voice of Opposition to the Vietnam War, Civil Rights Leader, and pastor and preacher of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King Jr. speaks truth to power. Gary's MLK assassination investigation led him to follow the trail which opened up to his investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and from there into the assassination of Senator and Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy. Many years later Gary would also find connections to the assassination of John Lennon and the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan. Screenplays have been written based on each of these, and the Gary Revel Investigations Franchise of action/thriller movies and television products is born. They are being developed at Jongleur Pictures LLC along with over 20 more film and television projects. Many of the screenplays are co-written by Gary and Frank Burmaster. Many are being executive produced by Jeff Olm. Two animated series are being developed, The Adventures of Hillary the Little Ladybug and The Old Doc Turtle Series. One Superhero project, Megamerse, is in the works. A fantasy film, Golf Gods, is being developed as a Roger Rabbit type genre with both live actors and animated characters. There are too many to list here but go to jongleurpictures.com if you'd like to see more. Most recently Gary founded the 501 (c) 3, nonprofit corporation Mother Nature Festival Live Inc. The mission is to stop global warming and engage in other philanthropic and societal causes.
