Darla Delayne's most recent endeavor is co-creating, writing, producing
and starring in three seasons of web series, "Morning Cup" and "Game
Night: at Saddle Ranch Estates" Her screen appearances also include
performances on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice , Biography Channel's
Celebrity Ghost Stories, and Austin Film Festival participant Ghost
Notes. Darla has performed in Trojan Women with Hudson Warehouse and
Alan Ball's Five Women Wearing the Same Dress at The Duo Theatre. She's
a cast member of the long running Sunday Night Improv show at 78th
Street Theatre Lab. Darla's ongoing acting coach is Deborah Carlson
with whom she was trained on Patsy Rodenberg's Body, Breath, Word
technique. Her ongoing improv teacher is Tom Sotor and she's also
trained with Carol Schindler and Carl Kissin. She studied on camera,
audition and commercial technique with some of New York's most
prestigious casting directors. Being a native Texan, Darla can speak
with several different Southern dialects. She loves to travel and has
been to many parts of Europe, Russia, the Caribbean, Mexico and all
over the US. Darla is a trained dancer in ballet, jazz, contemporary,
tap, two-step, salsa and twirling. She's had careers as a public school
teacher and in the real estate and mortgage field but her most precious
job is that of a loving mother to four children.
