Alex has traveled all over the globe, from all over Europe to Thailand, Dubai and the U.S.
He graduated from Emerson College with a BA in Film & Media Arts. Alex then studied journalism at the Northwestern University in Chicago, where he also spent five years working for the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company.
In Chicago, Alex got acquainted with the late Roger Ebert, who supported and inspired Alex in his career as a screenwriter and film critic.
Alex has seen and reviewed over 3,000 international films for two major publications: Film Threat and Irish Film Critic. He is the author of several books, and the winner of multiple awards for his feature screenplays. "Taken Too Far", a screenplay he co-wrote, was produced into a feature-length film. "Parched", a short film he wrote and co-directed, secured international distribution. He's worked on multiple film, TV and animation projects. He is also a film distributor, having acquired and successfully distributed dozens of titles and attended most film markets and festivals.
He resides in Encino, CA. His latest screenplay will soon be a major motion picture.
