Michael Cannell-Griffiths

Born in Wolverhampton, Michael grew up with a love of Sport and of
performing. He attended St Bartholomew's C of E Primary School, based
in Penn, where he took part in many of the school plays. Michael moved
to Highfields Secondary School, where he again took part in many school
performances, in Drama and with the School Choir. Throughout Secondary,
Michael continued to combine his love of Sport, playing rugby and
partaking in gymnastics and trampolining whilst studying PE, with his
love of performing, in Drama and in the local theatre group,
Wolverhampton Youth Music Theatre. Studying Performance Studies at A
Level, Michael then moved south to Twickenham, studying Drama and
Theatre Arts at St Mary's University College, continuing to play rugby
all the while. Upon graduation, Michael successfully auditioned for his
first major role, Biff Russell in 'GingerClown 3D', directed by Balazs
Hatveni, in Budapest, Hungary. Following this production, Michael has
begun studying MSc Sports Rehabilitation at St Mary's University
College, still residing in the Twickenham area, playing rugby at London
Irish Amateurs RFC in National 3 London/South East, as well as for St
Mary's University College Rugby Union.
