In New York, the duo went on to create original content for Nickelodeon, including "Hall Stars," a mockumentary-style pilot.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2014, Jeff co-wrote the track "Jet Lag" performed by Jay Pharaoh in "Champaign ILL," penned the lyrics for the original stage show "Nantucket! The MusACKal," and co-wrote the song "You Made Me," which appeared in H&M's campaign with Hailey Bieber.
In 2017 he began work with Matt Sav and fellow musical writer Brett Ryback on the documentary-style musical podcast "In Strange Woods." The series went into production with Jeff serving as director, co-writer, and co-lyricist in the summer of 2020. It premiered in December 2020 and featured the voices of Tony winner Beth Leavel ("The Drowsy Chaperone," "The Prom"), Tony nominee Patrick Page ("Hadestown"), Donna Lynne Champlin ("Crazy Ex-Girlfriend"), Michaela Watkins ("Casual," "Saturday Night Live") and Lily Mae Harrington ("All Rise," "Sing It!") -- during its run, "In Strange Woods" was the #1 Fiction show on Apple Podcasts. In 2022, in partnership with "Critical Role," the series went into development for television adaptation.
Jeff and Brett Ryback went on to write multiple musical projects together including their first feature, "This Used to Be a Disco," and their ghost rom-com musical for the stage, "Love Is Dead."
As a host/producer, Jeff interviewed celebrities for IMDb including Ryan Gosling, Kristen Stewart, Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Andrew Garfield and many more.
