Sean has English, Irish, Scottish, and some Swiss-German, ancestry. His family has lived in the American South for many generations. On his father's side, he is the grandson of Julian Richard O'Pry and Patricia Ann Carroll. On his mother's side, he is the grandson of Clyde T. Padgett and Neomia Ruth Chandler.
