Megan Jossa

Megan Jossa was born on the 29 January 1996 in Eltham, South East
London. Her first TV appearance was in a reconstruction in the ITV past
life regression show Have I Been Here Before? in 2005. In January 2006
it was announced that Megan had been cast in EastEnders playing the
role of Courtney Mitchell, the daughter of Grant
(Ross Kemp) and Tiffany
(Martine McCutcheon), who was last
seen in the show as a toddler in 1999. Megan played Courtney for 3
months from March to June 2006.
After EastEnders, Megan took on minor roles in police drama The Bill and BBC3 comedy Coming of Age before landing the role of Debbie in the West End's Billy Elliot the Musical, a role she played for a year from May 2008. In 2009, Megan appeared as Kim in ITV drama The Take. She is represented by D&B management and also attends their drama classes. Megan enjoys martial arts and football and supports West Ham. In August 2010, Megan's older cousin Jacqueline Jossa joined the cast of EastEnders, taking over the role of Lauren Branning from Madeline Duggan.
