In addition to his film and television credits, Montreal-born actor, lawyer and producer Vincent Hoss-Desmarais was the Ringmaster for the worldwide special events of international Circus troupe Cirque Eloize for 10 years, delivering performances in Europe, India, across Canada and Las Vegas. Vincent performed several lead parts on stage at some of Canada's most prestigious theatrical venues, notably at The Centaur Theatre in Montreal, Quebec, generating the part of prolific playwright and novelist Michel Tremblay, in the world premiere of the two-man show 'Michel and
Ti-Jean' (2010), which garnered both critical and box-office success.
Vincent interpreted anew his part of Tremblay in the 2011 production of the
play at the Theatre Network Live at the Roxy in Edmonton, Alberta, for
which he was nominated as Best Actor at the 2012 Elizabeth Sterling
Haynes Awards. Further theatrical credits include the lead character
Jean-Paul, in the critically-acclaimed world premiere of 'Vimy' at The
Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta, as well as The Storyteller at 'C2 Montreal', in both 2013 and 2014, where he presented international stars such as James Cameron and Sir Richard Branson. In 2018, Vincent performed the extravagant lead character of Chambellan for a unique event staged by the world-renowned scene-and-light-creating company Moment Factory. Vincent is also a lawyer, having received his Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from University of Montreal in 1999, to then be called to the Quebec Bar in 2001.
