- Director-Producer-Writer Lawrence Roeck completed shooting his second feature-length motion picture, "Diablo", an 1870s-set Western period piece starring Scott Eastwood ("Fury" and "Longest Ride"), Walton Goggins (of Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" and upcoming "Hateful Eight") as well as the much-respected Danny Glover. "Diablo" is a dark, epic movie shot by Academy Award-nominated DP Dean Cundey ("Apollo 13", "Jurassic Park", "Halloween") which will be released late 2015.
Roeck has also directed Academy Award-winner Lauren Bacall, Golden Globe-nominee Hayden Panettiere, 5-time BAFTA nominee Alfred Molina as well as Hollywood superstars like Josh Hutcherson (of "The Hunger Games"). His favorite project, however, was when Clint Eastwood personally hired Roeck to film and direct the final segment of an HBO documentary about the Hollywood icon's life and career, "The Eastwood Factor", narrated by Academy Award-winner Morgan Freeman.
Lawrence Roeck continues to produce his own projects while releasing his movie, "Diablo", and is moving into preproduction on his next action/drama feature, "White Widow".- IMDb Mini Biography By: Walter Bishop
