- Ted worked in Detroit Mich. (Motown) as China Jones on the Bartell Broadcasting station WDRQ...This station was the first Detroit FM to beat a dominant AM Top 40 station...in that The Q beat CKLW....
- Ted speaks French fluently, very good Spanish, very good German, some Turkish, some Tahitian and a bit of Serbo-Croatian.
- In 2007 Ted built a Christian Radio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the war-torn province of Ituri. While there the tribal war continued and the area was hit by a 6.9 earthquake. In 2008 another project was started in Lagos, Nigeria, a city of 30 million.
- Louisiana State University was Ted's school of choice at the age of 58, where he first studied improvisation and drama...gaining a basis for a successful acting 2nd career. Ted spent 41 years in radio before retiring at the age of 50 in 1999.
- Ted lived for 6 Years in Paris, 3 Years in New Zealand, Several Missionary stints in The Democratic Republic of Congo and Vera Cruz in Southern Mexico, Abuja, Nigeria, Berlin and Papeete Tahiti. He was a broadcast consultant building commercial and religious radio station in each location.
