Jackson Horton(II)

Jackson Horton was born in San Francisco. His mother is Australian and his father, American (of South American descent). Jackson has lived in both Australia and the USA. He returned back to the Bay Area in 2017.
Jackson's love of performing and singing was pretty much evident the minute he came out of the womb, although his passion for performing wasn't solidified until the age of 6 when he joined a local performing arts academy (CAPA) in Sydney and took part in the annual concert as Willy Wonka. Upon his return to the Bay Area he joined Curtains Up Youth Theatre. Here is where is continued to hone his acting and singing skills doing multiple musical theatre productions each year during his elementary school years. Playing Pongo in 101 Dalmations, Baloo in The Jungle Book, Simba in The Lion King, Danny in Grease, and Hans in Frozen, to name a few. His passion for singing also let him to perform at local festivals.
After signing with MDT Agency in San Francisco he began doing commercial and print work for bay area clients. Some of his clients include Apple, Honda, Epic for Books, Mulesoft, American Dental Academy, Moorebot, Flex NBA.
His first foray into film involved playing a homeless kid in A California Christmas: City Lights movie which aired on Netflix in 2021. In 2022, he as cast as The Kid in the short film The Case of the Missing Puzzle Box. This film was selected for 7 film festivals, won 2 awards and had 1 nomination. He played Robin in the You Tube Fan Series RedHood: No One's Son. A background choir kid in Holiday Harmony which aired on HBO Max in 2022. In 2022 he was cast in several short films playing GRIM in Grim, Joey in The Color of Autumn and a background school kid in Mis Perfect. In 2023 he was cast in 5 Outlaws and a Saddlebag as the young boy, in The Metamorphosis short film as Greg, in Our Trespasses short film as Deseo and in Dìdi as a playground kid.
His training includes scene study with Cynthia Bain Young Actor Studio and Voice over and Improv workshops with Kids on Camera as well as being part of the school choir and drama program. Besides performing, and playing video games he is never happier than when he is out in the wilderness with his friends. Exploring, hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, swimming... he is up for it all.
