Jake Grossman is an Art Director, Set Decorator, Associate Producer and hands on problem solver. Born October 1994 in Los Angeles, California to a Film and Television Production family of five, Jake quickly became involved in all aspects of art and storytelling. He attended Emerson College, graduating in 2017 with a BA in Directing Narrative Fiction.
One of Jake's greatest mentors is his long time Production Designer, Keseh Morgan. Keseh recognized Jake's potential and expertise in the field of Art. She immediately hired him and continued to bring Jake onto multiple projects spanning over four years.
In 2020 Jake Art Directed the Film, 'Two Distant Strangers' starring Joey Bada$$. Directed by Travon Free and Martin Desmond Roe, the film tells the story of a young black graphic designer living in New York who falls into a loop of police brutality he cannot get out of alive. The film went on to win the Academy Award for 'Best Live Action Short Film' in 2021.
Jake Grossman lives in New York with his partner and best-friend Sasha, a Television Writer and Law School Student. The two live with their dog, Winston, and cat, Penelope.
