Rachel Yoder is an American novelist and screenwriter. She grew up in a Mennonite commune in eastern Ohio, attended Georgetown University, and received MFAs from the University of Iowa and the University of Arizona. Her debut novel is Nightbitch (2021), adapted and directed by Marielle Heller. Yoder is an assistant professor of cinematic arts at the University of Iowa.
