Malkiat Meet is a renowned Punjabi Lyricist. Malkiat Meet started
writing lyrics at an early age and has been a writer all his life.
Today, Malkiat Meet wears many hats and is also a Producer, Director,
and an Actor. He has written Lyrics for many top Punjabi singers and
made them rich and famous. His first lyrics hit was recorded by Malkiat
Singh in UK song "Dil moh Lya Majajne hus hus ke".
Malkiat Meet was born into a hard working Mason & farming family in the Village of Lamba Pind, Punjab. He had a great interest in Acting Directing & music since an early age. He started his formal Acting & directing training at the age of 12, and started Participating in Television Dramas at Jalandar Door Darshan Kender. He also wrote many stage plays. He works with many famous actors on stage and learned a lot from them. He is the teacher, Guru, and founder of best comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi. He taught Gurpreet Ghuggi everything he learned from his Gurus and teachers.
He received, his BA degree from Guru Nanak Dev Punjab University. But the most influential actor Amitab Bacchan put so much influence on him to become Bollywood actor. He Left India in 1989 to become actor in Hollywood instead of Bollywood. He done acting in many hit Hollywood movies . He has been directed many Punjabi Music Videos. Now Malkiat Meet's goal is to make movies and help those who need to shoot in United States or Canada.
In his career, he has worked in many films in Hollywood. He appeared in "Batman Forever," "American Wedding," "Sea Biscuit," and "Live from Baghdad," to mention a few. He has also worked with the signer including: Sonu Nigam, Manmohan Waris, and his younger brother, Kamal Heer to mention a few. Meet has always worked hard to put his efforts where his heart is. He is always eager to work in new dimensions and lead teams.

Malkiat Meet Also played lead roles such as "Ajit Singh, Elder brother of the Hero" in Mr. Puneet Issar's Movie "Nischey Kar Apni Jeet Karoon".
Malkiat Meet also worked as the Line Production for the movie "Gold Bracelet", "Maple Heart," and "Nischey Kar Apni Jeet Karoon."
