Dana Wilkey is a Reality Star, Product Placement Agent and Entertainment Event Producer. Dana Wilkey is a graduate from USC in Political Science with a minor in Business. She currently lives in Miami, FL with her son and has her own pop culture Podcast "Dishing the Drama with Dana Wilkey" uncensored.
Dana started her career running an ad agency and an application development company. She developed Warner Brothers International television LA Screening platform, as well as many other applications used in entertainment. She has been doing product placement in films, publicity, and celebrity events for over 16 years. Her events were considered very "exclusive" and included independent film movie premiers, celebrity Oscar gifting suites and other over the top parties. Dana has been featured in two reality TV show pilots. "Life of the Party" - A show that follows Dana and her staff throwing events all over the world and "Rich and Ditched", a show like Bravo's Southern Charm, that was based in London following wealthy and newly single expats.
Dana has appeared on Bravo's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" as a cast member and guest star in seasons 1,2 & 3. She is famed for saying "Did you know, $25,000" about her sunglasses. She also memorably threw several over-the-top birthday parties and flaunted the "one-million-dollar lollipop holder" all while being a supportive friend to Taylor Armstrong through difficult moments on the show.
Dana's phrase: "Did you know $25,000" is considered iconic by many, memorialized by a song about the glasses released by Dana. Dana is thought to have been an early influencer because of this.
Her fiancé during the filming of the show, with whom she had her only child with, suddenly left her shortly after the airing "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Season 2. In season three, Dana explains her fiancé left her and her son for another woman and it was discovered that he was living a double life. Dana's break up with the fiancé was tumultuous. Besides her mid level influencer presence on Twitter @danawilkey, Dana seemingly disappeared until mid 2020 when she emerged on Instagram under the handle wilkey_dana where she currently posts reality TV tea, gossip, imitations and other things that interest her.
