Courtney Hope has been seen as Sally Spectra on the Young and The Restless since 2020 after portraying the same character on The Bold and the Beautiful for four years prior. Courtney won a Daytime Emmy in June 2024 for per portrayal of Sally Spectra on The Young And The Restless. In 2021, she was nominated for her first Daytime Emmy for "Outstanding Performance By A Supporting Actress", as well for the portrayal of Sally Spectra on the Bold and The Beautiful.
Courtney is also well known for her character in the hit-video game, "Control" by Remedy Entertainment. Her portrayal of Jesse Faden in Control earned her a video game nomination for "Best Performance" for a BAFTA Award (2020), as well, nominated for "Best Performer" at The Game Awards and won Courtney a "Best Performance" Award at the New York Video Game Awards. The game itself has won numerous awards as well as Game Of The Year by Game Informer, IGN and several other outlets.
She also known as 'Beth Wilder' in the hit video game and embedded TV show "Quantum Break", by Microsoft Studios (Xbox One) and Remedy Entertainment. Seen in several films, Courtney filmed "Allegiant" (the Divergent Series), is a lead in the Indie Film, "Displacement", which won the Best Sci-Fi Movie at the Hollywood Film Festival (along with Golden Globe Winners Bruce Davison, Susan Blakely and Superman actress lead, Sarah Douglas). She also filmed Swelter, alongside Jean Claude Van Damme and Prowl, as the movie's lead, filmed in Bulgaria. She has also been seen in Life Time and Hallmark movies, as well as, several TV shows such as, "Transparent", (recurring role), Criminal Minds, CSI Miami, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, Bones and other TV shows.
To date, aside from TV and film Courtney has filmed over 50+ commercials, voice-overs, and shot many ads.
Courtney Ann Hope was raised in Plano, Texas. From a very young age, she competitively danced and traveled with a dance troupe, as well as, pursued acting, modeling and gymnastics.
She graduated from a performing arts school at 15 years old and moved to LA, started college on her 16th birthday, and completed her Associates Degree by the age of 18 with a major in Psychology. Courtney is a certified Pilates and fitness instructor, and has a Nutrition and Healthy living degree from Cornell University.
She has served on the board for "Breaking The Chains" Organization, focused on Eating Disorders and Mental Health, since 2018. As well as, served on the PGEC for the Television Academy for four years.
