Filmmaker, director, and internationally produced playwright, David Gow's stage work has been produced in London, NYC, Berlin, Rome, Los Angeles, Chicago, Montréal, and Toronto just to name a few. Mr. Gow is most known for his feature film "Steel Toes," based on his hit play "Cherry Docs," which won numerous awards in the US and Canada, including Best Feature Film (Beverly Hills Film Festival) and Best Independent Feature in America (Cine Golden Eagle Award). His adaptation of his own material for film has found an audience throughout the world in English, and in translation. He has received awards from The Canada Council For The Arts, The Ontario Arts Council, and CALQ, and is an active member of the Dramatists Guild of America, and the WGC (Writers Guild of Canada). He is also an established character actor, in both Canada and the US.
