- Is a member of Mensa International, the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world.
- Insisted that her witch-character in Sinh Vật Huyền Bí và Nơi Tìm Ra Chúng (2016) was left-handed, as left-handedness has been associated with dark magic and sorcery for centuries. Ejogo suggested to create emphasis on her dominant left-hand by adding rings to it. Costume designer Colleen Atwood loved the idea and several rings were created from scratch.
