- Former NFL Seattle Seahawks linebacker, the always controversial Brian "Boz" Bosworth only played three seasons in the NFL but during that period he made plenty of headlines for a mixture of reasons, however he was forced to retire due to a chronic shoulder injury - which then saw "Boz" pitched as a new action star in the cinema.
Bosworth's first film was the fiery action film Stone Cold (1991) about an Alabama police officer (Bosworth) going undercover to smash a murderous outlaw biker gang called "The Brotherhood" led by Lance Henriksen and William Forsythe. Bosworth put in a fairly reasonable performance alongside a supporting cast of very high quality actors, and the film received some mildly positive reviews. Interestingly, it was several years before he made another movie with Bosworth appearing quickly in a string of further tough guy roles in low budget action films including One Tough Bastard (1996), the woefully slow Virus (1996), the offbeat noir styled Blackout (1996) and as an undercover cop again in Back in Business (1997).
Bosworth hasn't turned into the next "big thing" in the action genre, however he has continued appearing in key roles in low budget action productions, and minor roles in bigger Hollywood productions such as Đội Bóng Nhà Tù (2005).- IMDb Mini Biography By: firehouse44@hotmail.com

- His leaving the University of Oklahoma was precipitated by his being suspended from the 1986 Orange Bowl for steroid use. In protest, Bosworth wore a T-shirt with the inscription "NCAA - National Communists Against Athletes" on the sideline during the game. This prompted Oklahoma coach Barry Switzer to dismiss him from the team.

- Wore jersey number 44, his college number, during the 1987 NFL pre-season and tried to take the NFL to court for the right to wear that number. He lost, and was forced to switch to number 55.
- Was drafted by the Tacoma Stars of the Major Indoor Soccer League in the 12th round in the 1987 draft because as GM Allan Hinton jokingly said "Because we didn't receive a letter from him that he wouldn't play for us." Bosworth had sent letters to various NFL teams stating that if they drafted him in the NFL Supplemental draft, he wouldn't report to their training camp and he wouldn't play for them.
