Cary Bickley went to Wesleyan University where she both acted and began her writing career with one act plays such as "April" and "Adam's Spare Rib". She worked in New York until she moved to Los Angeles with the idea for "The Gun In Betty Lou's Handbag" that started her long film career. In 2017 her half hour comedy pilot "Gamers" was a Just For Laughs script finalist. Next Cary sold her spec dramedy pilot "Ellie Putnam" outright to ABC Studios and continues to write for film and television. Her humor essays have been published by such magazines as Glamour, Taxi, Brides, Wondertime and Family Fun.
