Biography

Had just finished a support role opposite comedian Jim Carrey in Đừng Nói Dối, Bố Ơi (1997) at the time of his death. The movie was dedicated to his memory.

Suffered a fatal heart attack while driving his car in Hollywood and was involved in a rear-end accident. He died about an hour later at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank.

Died shortly after he was nominated for a Cable Ace award for his work in the tele-movie Sophie & the Moonhanger (1996), which aired on the Lifetime network.

A strong factor in the eventual success of Black Arts/West in the goal of providing professional training to actors. He employed a hybrid of the Stanislavsky and Grotowski methods. He also directed and appeared in its production of "Dream On Monkey Mountain" in 1971.
