- Rosel Zech was born on July 7, 1940 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Die Sehnsucht der Veronika Voss (1982), Salmonberries (1991) and Der Angriff der Gegenwart auf die übrige Zeit (1985). She died on August 31, 2011 in Berlin, Germany.
- Best known for her performance as a drug-addicted fading screen star (based on the tragic life of actress Sybille Schmitz) in Rainer Werner Fassbinder's classic drama Die Sehnsucht der Veronika Voss (1982). Subsequently had a substantial career in German television, notably as the mother in the miniseries The Oppermann Family (1983).
