The iconic actor Paul Rudd, known for portraying the iconic role of Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has an equally iconic love life. From having a meet-cute date with Julie Yaeger to marrying her, Rudd and Yaeger have had quite the romantic timeline.
In an interview back in 2018, Paul Rudd couldn’t help but compliment his wife and how he realized that she was the one. Talking about maturity levels and being an understanding partner, Rudd realized that Julie Yaeger wasn’t an ordinary stranger.

It’s hard to believe that Paul Rudd originally won over audiences with his on-screen personas more than 30 years ago. The hero of Marvel’s Ant-Man trilogy received his first major break with Clueless in 1995, but when he teamed up with regular collaborator Judd Apatow, he found his comedic voice. The two collaborated on several comedic films in the 2000s, including The 40-Year-Old Virgin, This is 40, and Knocked Up.
While filming Knocked Up, Rudd found some inspiration from his own life. Let’s take a look at the actor and how he got some real-life marriage counseling from his movie.
‘Knocked Up’ in real life
Rudd was in the movie Knocked Up, which stars Katherine Heigl. Heigl has publicly stated that she thought the movie was sexist. However, the film is meant to be a comedy. Here is a recap of the film.

Marvel stars have to get into extraordinarily good shape to play their roles convincingly. While CGI and costume padding can enhance the superhero experience, actors still need to get in shape to convince viewers they’re watching a real superhero.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star Paul Rudd went through a lot for the first film just to prepare for his shirtless scene. As it turns out, the actor has a tiered system for health that we all could benefit from.

Paul Rudd and his 16-year-old son, Jack, had the time of their lives at the 2023 Super Bowl. The father-son duo cheered the Kansas City Chiefs to victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 12, marking their second time attending the Super Bowl together. After hanging out on the State Farm Stadium field before kickoff alongside other stars like Jay-Z and Blue Ivy Carter, they watched the game from the stands, matching in Chiefs jerseys layered over hoodies. Once the game concluded, Rudd and Jack hit the field to celebrate, sharing hugs with various Kansas City players, including tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Rudd and his son were also pulled aside for a postgame interview that proved just how similar the pair are. "I can't believe it," Rudd told a Fox Sports reporter. "It was such a great game, and wow, it all just feels so overwhelming and incredible.

Believe it or not, it's been 30 years since Paul Rudd first charmed audiences on screens with his earliest acting roles. The star of Marvel's "Ant-Man" trilogy had his first big break with "Clueless" in 1995, but he didn't hit his comedic stride until he paired up with frequent collaborator Judd Apatow. Throughout the aughts, the two worked together on a series of movies that were funny and frank about dating, family, and friendship, including "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "This is 40," and "Knocked Up."
In a new retrospective for GQ, Rudd dissects his career so far, sharing behind-the-scenes details about roles including his turn as Pete in the Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl-led comedy "Knocked Up." Although Rudd played the husband of Leslie Mann's character, making him an Apatow-like avatar since Mann is married to the writer-director in real life, the actor says the film actually pulled some details from his own marriage: Namely,...

Hollywood's sweetheart Paul Rudd is everything: actor, comedian, husband, and father of two. The "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" actor has been married to his wife, Julie Yaeger, since 2003, and they share a daughter and a son. If you assumed Paul was one of those dads who loves to have fun with his kids, is super devoted to his family, and is a big fan of dad jokes, you'd be absolutely correct. Four moms, whose only common ground is their kids’ preschool class, arrange a fun mom dinner with the sole aim to drink wine, gossip, and bond without worrying about their kids, husbands and housework for the night. The dinner guests include the newly divorced Jamie (Molly Shannon), super mom Melanie (Bridget Everett), the stressed-out Emily (Katie Aselton), and Emily’s best friend and social outcast Kate (Toni Collette), who was more than a little reluctant in accepting the invite. The night begins as a disaster, but the combination of alcohol, karaoke, and a very cute bartender (Maroon 5′s Adam Levine), leads to an unforgettable night where these seemingly different women realise they have more in common than just motherhood, mess and men.

“It’s a shame that there are so few ensemble women’s films that people are only able to look at what the coincidences are,” says Alethea Jones, director of Fun Mom Dinner. “There’s such a proliferation of male content ensembles, but nobody says, ‘It’s all dudes.’ People have been talking about that we have Fun Mom in our title, and Bad Moms have moms in their title, but nobody ever asks the director and writer of Ant-Man, and Superman, and Batman… the list goes on.”

MaryAnn’s quick take… Stereotypes and contrived shenanigans don’t seem to actually offer much catharsis for harried moms seeking escape. And the dads inevitably butt into their me-time. I’m “biast” (pro): I’m desperate for stories about women
I’m “biast” (con): nothing

Fun? Nope, not for us. Dinner? Mostly offscreen. Moms? Check… though even here, in a movie allegedly devoted to mom time, they have to share the spotlight with dads. Wtf?
Fun Mom Dinner (the title sounds like a Japanglish attempt to sound cool) starts off promising enough, with Toni Collette’s (Krampus, Miss You Already) Kate complaining about how child-focused the interactions of so many women can be — “I’m mommed out,” she sighs, with a refreshing lack of reverence for motherhood, something that cinema is sorely lacking — and with Katie Aselton’s (The Gift,...

“Fun Mom Dinner” kicks off the way you might expect a comedy with that title would: a montage of four mothers’ school mornings, with each trying with varying degrees of success to wrangle their spawn until one ends up with poo on her face. Such broadness doesn’t bode well for the feature debuts of director Alethea Jones and scripter Julie Rudd. But although the filmmakers return to outsize wackiness too frequently, the film mercifully isn’t one chaotic gag after another. The titular event is launched when the relatively with-it Jamie (Molly Shannon) invites the new parent at her preschool,...

The Momsemble comedy goes indie with this Sundance farce from director Alethea Jones and writer Julie Rudd, which released a raucous first trailer today. It’s full of the kinds of shenanigans one might expect from a comedy about moms letting loose for an epic night: Flying poop, competitive bickering, clueless dads, and a trip to a weed dispensary. What could possibly go wrong?

New York theatergoers know Bridget Everett as a cabaret singer with a powerhouse belt and a penchant for motorboating audience members. Some kind of magic happens when Toni Collette and Bridget Everett share the screen in Alethea Jones’ “Fun Mom Dinner.” The duo initially face off as philosophically oppositional moms tossed together in service to the eponymous gathering, eventually finding common ground (and fertile comedic opportunities). Unfortunately, the rest of the film is a scattershot affair.
Penned by Julie Rudd in her feature debut, “Fun Mom Dinner” is as advertised, following four moms over the course of one very wild night out. Katie Aselton is the straight woman as supermom Emily who is secretly struggling with her romance-free marriage to Tom (Adam Scott) and her latent disappointment in leaving her legal career to become a full-time parent.

Paul Rudd hit the jackpot – he’s got a beautiful family, and as of yesterday, he’s officially a Hollywood Walk of Famer. The man of the hour was honored with his own star on the 1.3-mile-long internationally known tribute to some of Hollywood’s best actors, artists and musicians. And there to support the “Ant-Man” star was his gorgeous wife, Julie Yaeger, and their two adorable children, daughter Darby and son Jack. The 46-year-old heartthrob plays Ant-Man in the action-packed Peyton Reed film, set to be released July 17. In the film, Rudd’s famous Ant-Man suit causes him to shrink in size but increase in strength. Paul must now help his mentor, played by Michael Douglas, protect the secret of the suit, and eventually, save the world. Just your average day, right? Unfortunately, though, not everyone is as excited as we are for the release of the science-fiction thriller.

In case you need another reason to love Paul Rudd, he showed off his toned physique when he went shirtless for a little beach football in Cabo on Friday. The actor is south of the border with his wife, Julie Yaeger, and a large group of friends as he takes a break before starting filming on the latest Marvel superhero flick, Ant-Man. Paul is slated to play the lead, which means we'll likely see much more of his toned body on the big screen when the film hits theaters in 2015. Interestingly enough, Paul had a viral moment last week when a video of him on Funny or Die's Billy on the Street became a huge Internet sensation. In the clip, Paul and the host, Billy, ran up to strangers on the streets of NYC to ask if they would have sex with Paul for $1. Obviously, lots of women (and men...

Paul Rudd has a pub in his house. The 'Wanderlust' actor loves being able to serve drinks to his friends from the bar he has installed in his New York home. He said: 'I have a pub in my house in upstate New York. It's totally free! That's the great thing about having your own pub.' Paul - who has son Jack, seven, and two-year-old daughter Darby with wife Julie Yaeger - admitted he 'constantly works' at his marriage and thinks no two couples have the same sort of relationship as one another. Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd seem like such a natural fit, we’re surprised no one has started any salacious rumors about them. So don’t mind if we do! We’re kidding, of course; Paul has been happily married to wife Julie Yaeger since 2003. Damn you, Julie Yaegeeeer! Oh, sorry. What we meant to say was, in an alternate universe of our own making, Aniston and Rudd are posing shirtless together on a nightly basis, just as they did for this month’s GQ cover.

I’ve kissed him for years,” Jen tells their interviewer. Jokes Paul, “We’ve made out for decades.

Paul Rudd was joined by his wife, Julie Yaeger, on the green carpet before the Oscar Wilde: Honoring the Irish in Film gala in La. The comedian, who wasn't born in Ireland and isn't Irish, was presented with the "Honorary Irishman" award by Julia Roberts. Paul and Julia, who often supports her friends in the business, became close when starring in Three Days of Rain on Broadway in 2006. Paul took the stage to accept the honor, saying, "I am so grateful, I am honored, I am humbled . . . And I'm Irish." It was another star-studded event hosted by the Us-Ireland Alliance, after last year's brought out Tom Cruise to salute his pal J.J. Abrams. Mad Men's Jon Hamm was in the audience to support Paul, as was new dad Orlando Bloom. Jon kept the party rounds going by also hitting a Grey Goose bash with Leonardo DiCaprio. View Slideshow...
