Ronald Lee Von Gober was born in 1957, in Inglewood California. Von Gober joined the army in 1983 and trained at Fort McClellan Alabama.
Von Gober joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 1987, but remained in the army reserve.
Von Gober served in the Iraq war from 2003 to 2006. Von Gober retired from LAPD in 2008, and became a CA State Investigator, resolving and prosecuting crime(s) against, or perpetrated by, persons with developmental disabilities.
In 2018, Von Gober left his career of nearly forty years and traveled for the next five years, (living in Saigon, Queensland, Costa Rica, Barcelona, Las Vegas,and Atlantic City) navigating the world by cruise ship, boat, bicycle, plane, Uber, bus.... etc.
In between the dates mentioned above, Von Gober raised two daughters, (Samantha & Sydney) and volunteered at Samaritans Purse under the direct supervision of Franklyn Graham.
Between 1996 and 2003 Von Gober had a very successful career in movies & television, as well as print and internet media model.
Von Gober also had a career in the late seventies, as the singer in the punk band St. Vidous Dance.
