It's been years in the making, but yesterday the History Channel announced that it will be the home of the American version of the hit British show, Top Gear. You can still watch the original (and always, best) version of the show on BBC America, but people who actually watch for the car stuff will surely be pleased to see reviews of cars that are available to buy and drive in this country (Top Gear traditionally hates American-made cars and refuses to review them. Also, they think we're all fat).

Comedian Adam Carolla has been announced as the host of the new U.S. adaptation of the BBC's hit motoring show Top Gear.
The Man Show star will join race car driver Tanner Foust and TV home improvement guru Eric Stromer as the presenters of the show, set to air on U.S. channel NBC, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
