- Maaya Sakamoto was born on March 31, 1980 in Tokyo, Japan. She is an actress, known for Final Fantasy VII: Hành Trình Của Những Đứa Trẻ (2005), Evangelion: 2.0 (Không Thể) Tiến Lên (2009) and Escaflowne (2000). She has been married to Ken'ichi Suzumura since August 8, 2011. They have one child.

- Gave her first U.S. concert on July 3rd at the 2005 Anime Expo in Anaheim, California. During the eight song concert (with a one song encore), Ms. Sakamoto amazed her fans by speaking entirely in fluent English throughout the show. She was also repeatedly overwhelmed with happiness at the size and energy of the several thousand-strong crowd, much to the audience's delight.

- Everyday I think, 'I'm grateful that I get married'. When I was single, I think I would be nice to have somewhere to go home. Since I got married, I feel finally obtained a really comfortable space, where I truly belong to. Whether my condition was horrible, or it were superb; I couldn't feel satisfied for what I have.
