"Save the cathedral… without losing a single life." Netflix has revealed an official trailer for a mini-series titled Notre Dame, the second major production based around the Notre Dame fire in 2019. The moment this fire at the iconic cathedral made news around the world, I knew it would be turned into movies. Jean-Jacques Annaud made his own Notre-Dame On Fire film also releasing this year, and Netflix has made their mini-series based around the exact same concept - following the firefighters who went to work putting out the fire that night. Hervé Hadmar's Notre Dame series follows the story of the night of April 15th, 2019 in Notre-Dame Cathedral alongside the many firefighters and the impact the fire had on different characters across France. Starring Roschdy Zem, Caroline Proust, Megan Northam, Simon Abkarian, Alice Isaaz, Marie Zabukovec, Sandor Funtek. This looks like it has some gorgeous visuals, but it also...

Exclusive: At an elegant breakfast this morning at the French Embassy on Fifth Avenue, tonight’s International Emmy Awards were the raison d’être but it was Paris and the events of the last week that cast a long shadow. Caroline Proust, a star of nominated drama Spiral, a lauded decade-old series often compared to The Wire, had just arrived after finishing a seven-week run at the Odeon-Théatre de l’Europe of A View From The Bridge — the same Ivo Van Hove production that…...

The Voice UK: BBC One, 7pm
It's the fourth round of blind auditions this week, which means more high notes, more tears and most importantly, more Twitter debate over Rita Ora's hair.
Following on from last week's Welsh invasion, a mournful version of 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)' and the return of Esmée Denters, we now have a man calling himself the Soho Hobo and Dawn 'with-the-horn'. She's a trumpet player, obviously.
Spiral: BBC Four, 9pm
The French crime drama, starring Caroline Proust and Philippe Duclos, continues with another double bill of murder and grit.
This week, everyone has to find the time to grieve following last week's emotional events, while keeping it together and solving the murder of a woman and her child. In the second episode, beginning at 9.55pm, Laure digs into Sandrine Jaulin's family history, discovering more than she bargained for in the process.

I Need That Record!
DVD, Wienerworld
The one thing that everyone agrees on in this Us documentary about independent record stores is that they are, basically, just places to sell music. But no one would ever state that's all they are. They are hassle-free places to hang out, to talk rubbish fearlessly, to argue loudly without being asked to move on, to form bands, to see bands, to hand out flyers – even to not buy music. Indie record shops have something the major chains will never replicate no matter how many surveys and spreadsheets they employ: they are cool. Here, customers and workers alike tell tales of arriving before opening hours, of discovering some classic tucked away, of being recommended a life-changing album, of learning they are not the only one in a 1,000-mile radius who likes Minor Threat. This may get more than a little rose-tinted at times, but...
