Hattie Morahan

Hattie Morahan was born in London. Her father, Christopher Morahan, was a television and stage director. Her mother, Anna Carteret, is an actress. Hattie was educated at the Frensham Heights School.
Hattie studied English Literature at New Hall, Cambridge between 1997 and 2000.
Hattie won an Ian Charleson award for her performance as Nina in The Seagull at the National Theatre in 2006.
She won Best Actress at the Shanghai TV festival 2008 for her role in Sense and Sensibility.
Hattie won both the Evening Standard Theatre Award and the Critics Circle Best Actress Award for her performance as Nora in A Doll's House at the Young Vic Theatre, and was nominated for an Olivier award, with the production later transferring to the West End and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
