- George Andre
- Although best remembered today for his appearances in notoriously awful Jerry Warren films, George Mitchell André nevertheless enjoyed a 40-year career as a distinguished veteran of stage, radio, television, and film. He first became interested in dramatics at the age of 15 at the Chicago Boys' Club. His early career was briefly interrupted, however, by military service in Europe during World War II. Following his service, Mr. André trained with the famous Actors Company in Los Angeles, before becoming an award-winning actor and director with outfits including the LA Repertory Theatre and the Kentwood Players. Among the many (better known) names Mr. André worked with over his professional career were Robert Montgomery, Geraldine Page, Shelley Berman, Imogene Coca, Burgess Meredith, and Richard Carlson over the years. His last (known) appearance was in Jerry Warren's Frankenstein Island (1981).- IMDb Mini Biography By: Luigi Bastardo
