- Adolf E. Licho was born on September 13, 1876 in Kremenchug, Poltava Governorate, Russian Empire [now Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, Ukraine]. He was an actor and director, known for Kaddisch (1924), Kinder der Zeit (1922) and 1914, die letzten Tage vor dem Weltbrand (1931). He died on October 11, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- He first fled to Paris where he took part in the movies "Chéri-Bibi" (1938), "Le drame de Shanghai" (1938) and "Gibraltar" (1938) , but when France was occupied by the Germans too he fled again, this time to the USA. There he was able to continue his film career indeed but he only got offered minor roles.
- He was in the USA also owner of a coffee bar.
- He became established as a character actor in the 20s for the German silent film and he appeared in some important movies as well.
