- Some sources (among them Wikipedia) confuse this Al Lewis with the identically named character actor who co-starred in the classic TV sitcoms Car 54 Where Are You (in which he was a bumbling policeman) and The Munsters (in which he played the bumbling, spell-casting Grandpa). Although they were contemporaries, they were actually not even related to one another.
