- When he and his brother went over to WCW to become the successful tag team of Harlem Heat, they were managed by former wrestler Rob Parker. The original plan was to call them the "Ghetto Blasters" and have them come to the ring in chains like slaves, but was nixed due to racial sensitivity.
- Booker and Chris Benoit continued their "Best of Seven series" once again on the WWE SmackDown brand in 2005 until 2006. After the series was 3-1 in Booker's favor, he suffered an injury at a House Show on December 2nd. Because of this he chose Randy Orton as his replacement. Orton defeated Benoit in the seventh match to win the series and the United States Championship for Booker T.

He and his partners wore Wendy's uniforms during the crimes, having worked there for 2 years. Booker was sentenced to 5 years in prison but served 19 months before being released. His parole ended in April 1992.
