In this new console showcase, Jaggy shows off... err... tastes a Nintendo Gamecube, a 128-bit console released in 2001 that competed with Microsoft's Xbox and Sony's PlayStation 2! Despite being technically being a financial failure due to it only having 21 million sales (less than the N64), it was home to many fantastic games like Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Wind Waker, and more! It has one of my favorite menu BIOS, along with one of the most iconic startups of all time besides the PlayStation 2. It was later discontinued in 2007 a year after launch of the much, MUCH more successful Nintendo Wii, in which its earlier models had full backwards compatibility with the Gamecube.
