Jeeze, and here I thought the five console I have was a lot. I recognize a lot of great systems there. You've quite the collection.
HOLY CRAPOLA! That's alot of gaming systems! I've only got the SNES, Sega Genesis, N64, PS1, PS2 and a GameCube...All of which I'm always using ^^
Do you still use any of them?
Do you still use any of them?
Soon it will overwhelm the house, then the neighborhood. Then... the world!
Well, with occasional pauses for tired thumbs.
Well, with occasional pauses for tired thumbs.
even less breaks if he gets those "gamer gloves" that only covered half your palm and thumb and forfinger. they looked so stupid but had to get them because i saw them in my tips and tricks every month during the good ol' 16 bit generation.
Cool! I think I am going to so do this too! You do have me a little beat I admit but I'm getting close! wait there are 2 diffent models of the 7800? never heard of that. I still have an early genesis 1 with a comport looking extention in the back that looks like an inverted pc serial port labeled EXT that wasnt on any other one I had ever seen. Wonder if you know anything about that? Such a cool collection ^.^
well as they say " DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!" -loses count of all the video game systems-
Wow. I'm very impressed. It is like that one person I came across who had 768 videogames.
I saw this a long time ago, I think it was the last time I had joined FA a few years ago before the site went down.
And even that much later, this is still awesome. Can't beat it. *thumbs up*

Ok, I'm listening to a song, and I happened to be scrolling and pause on your comment, and I realized after about 25 seconds that your icon was in time with my music XD
How very odd! XD I was listening to Megaman music when i was making it though.
A co-worker gave me one about a year and a half ago, I have it boxed somewhere in the house. It's got no games, and one controller.
I have no clue how much (if anything) it's worth.. but uh, how much can you offer? XD

Your sheer unholy almighty SOME-OF-AWE makes me WEEP a thousand tears of joy and seething envy.
You are my latest GOD.
WELCOME TO MY PANTHEON.
You are my latest GOD.
WELCOME TO MY PANTHEON.
Truly, your substance is equal to that only of those who have no life, may what little sanity you have be quelled with the sheer awsomeness that is. You.
Impressive, and lol, gamecube X3
Impressive, and lol, gamecube X3
Whew... nice. I'm just curious how many individual games you have? Or you can estimate... I've got a pretty sizable collection myself. I don't have quite as many systems as you but then I haven't been collecting for quite as long.
Holy frickin' jesus!
You've got me owned in that respect... I only have a Sega Genesis, Gamecube, Atari 2600, a Game Boy Advance SP...and some PC Games (M.U.G.E.N., Nester, Stepmania and some Flash stuff...)
But, I don't see a Mattel Intellivision...
Is that on your "to-get" List? *Just asking*
Either way, You have quite the collection...

ITS OVER NINE-THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND...sorry, I thought that was needed
SPOOOOGE!!!
I have many a 3rd of those machines on the table, though besides a few of the consoles I have just a few games. It's really hard for me to pay eBay prices for old console games unless I find them at a thrift store for a quarter, which does happen once in a while. And I have every console emulator and nearly every game ROM, but it's a nothing like playing the real console with the real controllers.

Holy christ you got a famicom!? Those are SO hard to find! And you were born in NYC in 72? 69 babyee!! In mahattan downtown..
Red the commentlist I also have Super Famicom, Japanese GB, N64 and Gamecube. plus many UK units like Amiga Cd32, Specrtum and others.
geeezzzzz.. that's just crazy.. i commend you sir! you have gotten me beat by a country mile! :)
T'is gamming nervana! The prommis land has been found!
This picture is love. :3 It makes my heart sing. Especially seeing the Sega Master system after all these years. And the atari with the wood trim. *sniffles* Oh the memories.
Gee thanks and my fave console is the 1977 Atari 2600 (Woody)^^
I showed this picture to my friend and he nearly passed out. The first thing he asked was "What does he do for a living to afford all of those?" That got me curious myself. You made it sound as though most of these were bought during their hay-day, not after in a garage sale. How -do- you finance such a pricey hobby, and I'm curious if you've since gotten the 360, Wii, and PS3?
If you read the Artist Commecnts you can see the time line in how I got some of them^_^
Wow, I've got that machine still laying abouts! the nice mock wood panel on the front of the machine made it fit in perfectly with my like era RCA Colortrak.
One thing I'm curious on is I don't offhand see a TI-99/4A Or is that outside your relm of play. The machine had a few rather spiffy games that I played regularly and my parents had some sort of financial software. Some archaic predecessor to turbotax or somesuch.

Ahaha, you have the Sega Nomad! I used to have one years ago. Gotta love the six AA, two-hour battery life!
*whistles* Magnificent collection you have there, I must say. I am missing several pieces that you seem to own already.
(The master System II, Sega CD model I, Genesis 3, The Atari Jaguar, the 3DO, whatever that oddly shaped thing is above the NES, the NES redesign, and the famicom.) Unless I am mistaken, it seems we are both missing the difficult to find Sega CDX.

I cant fit Neo-Geo on the tabel only Atari, Nintendo and Sega stuff^_^;
I believe the term, "HOLY CRAP!!!" comes to mind!!!
That is insanely awesome!! I commend your gaming godlyness!!

Okay, silly question, but what is that robot thingy in the nintendo row?
Thats okay not many in todays Gen X dont really knew of this unit so heres some info on it,
R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) was an accessory for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in 1984 in Japan as the "Famicom Robot" and in 1985 as R.O.B in North America.
In Japan, the Famicom Robot was sold with Robot Block (a.k.a. Stack-Up).
The Robotic Operating Buddy was sold in two packages. One was the NES Deluxe Set, which featured a control deck, the NES Zapper, two controllers, and two games (Duck Hunt and Gyromite). The other package only included R.O.B. and Gyromite.
While in production, R.O.B. was not widely accepted. The reason why it is not exceedingly rare today is due to its brief inclusion in the NES Deluxe Set. It was compatible with only two games, neither of which were simple enough for a game market that, at the time, was composed almost entirely of younger children.
Its most successful use was as a "trojan horse" to garner interest following the video game crash of 1983. Retailers, reluctant to stock video games, were successfully tricked when Nintendo snuck the NES in with R.O.B. as a "robot toy" instead of a video game. It worked, as retailers stocked the NES, giving Nintendo its first major foothold in the western market [1].
On the other hand, some consumers saw R.O.B. only as a novelty. The slow pace with which R.O.B. performed its movements was a source of frustration, since cheating at Gyromite was far easier to set up and play than controlling the game in its intended fashion.

JVC X'EYE wiill play imported sega gen games, regular SEGA Gen games, and seGA CD games, plus apparently it played "karioke' CD's that I could never find but read they were released by JVC for this purpose. Probably more popularin Japan
The story behind my JVC X'eye is my dad was working at Martin Marietta (now Lockede Martin) and the store there for employees had it on sale and he bought it for like 100$. When it was released it cost like 300$ lol

I've got a Pioneer CLD-A100.. plays laser disks, CDs, Sega CDs, and Sega Genesis carts... also has a back up RAM and a way to get a Neo-Geo hooked into it.. if I could only find the insert for that one... (the Genesis gets placed in the front of the LD player, like a game cart... there is a Neo Geo cart for it too...)

Looking at some of the old Ataris makes those complaint about the X-Box being too big almost laughable.
I remember my old Atari VCS...
I remember my old Atari VCS...
And who wouldn't, hehe. Incredible collection you have, by the way.
I haven't seen that much silicon in one place since the last Baywatch reunion. ;)
OH MAN you Got the Mega Drive CD 32X in one, one O.O I always wanted to get that but could never find it [ do you have Steam Hearts for the Sega Saturn or Pc?]

That is a beautiful collection...I used to think my 12 or more systems was alot...but wow...your a gaming god!
Very awesome collection, xD. I can't imagine how you keep all that dusted, or even at one place without people tryin to gank it, rofl. +fav
Look at all those game systems! I'm gettin' dizzy! Have you ever shown your collection to Tips & Tricks Magizine?

Those are actually called "Game and Watch." That's the actual name for the portables, hence the character's name.
Do you have an FM Towns Marty?

Holy cow, that is amazing collection. I used to have a Super Nitendo with about 84 games, but I got tired of them all and then decided to emulate them all and the games I could not play. Amazing collection dude.

omg... you're the first one I know that has a collection as big as mine.
it is awesome :)
it is awesome :)
You make me want to die... severely. My boyfriend is now in love with you, and I am green with jealousy. If only I were a wee bit older, so I too could exist and comprehend the experience that is 80's video games. I have a small collection of old games, and I am proud to say that my SNES is the same SNES as the one I bought when it was first released. It still works, and greatly.
My boyfriend wants you AIM id, if you have it and would be so kind as to grant me access to it.
This was both a highlight for my day, and very depressing. I'm happy to see some one who loves their game systems from early 80's and on, but I am depressed because I desperately want what you have; not only access to all of the game systems, but the systems from their release date.
I must say, I am happy that you watched me, so that I may see your video games! You sir, rock!

Thanks for liking my stuff and as for the photo on the Intellivision go on my gallery and look for my Top Ten Fave Gaming Consoles^^
Damn you and your Sega CD-EX. Been trying to get one since the 90's. Only place to find it is ebay and it almost always goes over $100. Almost won one once but lost the bid.
OMG and i thought i had a lot of systems DAMN you take the cake awesome
Dont EVER get rid of those. the famicon and stuff. those will probably be worth money in the near future. every year there will be less and less of consols... making them rarer and more valueable. (wow im a shitty speller)
Holy SH!T you literally own the VG world.I have to pay mor attention to you...:D
Wow you've got a fantastically impressive display there!
Thanks fur the watch, btw!!! :)
Thanks fur the watch, btw!!! :)
You got a fuckin neo-geo in 1990?! Rich motherfucker! That would've been like $900!
It was my and dad got me the Neogeo and my uncle got me two games NAM1975 and Magician Lord^^
I have a good number of those systems, but where on earth did you find the robot for the NES?
You mean ROB the robot? I got him back in 1985 when the NES first came out in the US in NYC with 5 origanl NES games for my B-day with my own cash I saved up^^ The robot came in the NES Deluxe Set;)
Maybe you can appreciate this...
Back when I was like 8 or 9 my parents traded their microwave for my uncle's Atari 2500 (6 games) and a Colecovision with about 50 games. I see the Atari (3rd from the left...the big one) but I can;t spot the colecovision that we had. I was a smaller unit that plugged into a bigger one.

Cause the table has only the main company Atari. Nintendo. Sega but if you look into my gallery you will fine the Coleco^^
I'm subjected to dial-up... I would raid so many galleries otherwise ;.;
I know how you feel been there^^

Yay ^^ thanks for the links :D
OK so... http://www.furaffinity.net/view/401972/
the middle console I HAD.. BUT it didn't work nor the 20 or so games that went with it. What I used was an attachment that was connected to the front of the very same console. I remmeber the games were compatible with ...er.... it might have been the atari2600? It had the clasic games like pitfall, adventure, seaquest, boxing, berzerk(ya I spelled it right), etc. Nonetheless, it was this little dinky console about a 1/4 size of the colecovision console it plugged into.
The third link is bunk btw ^^

wow, that is impressive to say the least, you even have all the consoles that bombed horribly like the master system.
You might do well to open a video game museum some day, you already have an impressive collection of systems and games/peripherals.
and it's a great way to show off what you have and maybe even get other interested, or maybe get donations of old games ^_~

oh Atari made a pinball console once ya got it? I used to have one I got LOTS of old hand held games too one is a Atari
Wow. That's a stunning collection. I'm so happy to see another original Atari2600VCS alive. I still have a working one, in it's orginal box with instructions. I'm hoping when I'm old it might be worth enough to sell for a pretty penny or two! One of my friends had the later model with only four buttons on the top and with less fake-wood, but I still prefer the full 6 button version I see in your pic.
Dammit, now I want to play Yars Revenge again.
I blame you. :p

It depends.
If he bought all of these at original retail price when the consoles came out, very much so yes (Not only that, but if that's the case, he is the true definition of a "gamer")
However, you can find most of these for sale much much cheaper than their original retail price.

it was a second gen SNES. Same as the first.
Or, I may be wrong, that may be the Super Famicom (wouldn't surprise me; I see an original Famicom all the way to the left)

Okay, my N64 is still running. (Thank God I haven't ran the living shit out of it while playing Donkey Kong 64 for 3 months in a row...)
I'm...trying to find the same Genesis that you got that I own... Oh, THERE it is! The one with Sonic & Knuckles in it!

May I guess that you have EVERY SINGLE known console to humanity?
DAMN....just damn you have even more console than the AVGN or does he have more, I honestly dunno.
*_*...damn this brings back memories. I'm still kicking my brother for selling his old Atari system in a garage sale a few years back. :C Very sweet collection!!
Wow awesome collection! Looks like they need some dusting though. :o
*_* wow, thats, wht i calling a collection x3
thats what i would call a gamer heaven

That's a pretty cool collection. Looks like you're going for sheer 'have it all' as goal?
I have each of those, but only specific editions, rather than all of them. Still, nice to see all those variants together.

Massive nostalgia trip. Especially at the Sonic and Knuckles + Sonic 2 in the picture.
(From what I hear, Sega has never released a proper Sonic 3 and Knuckles version of this game on the collections or online stores. So if you still have it, hold on to it for dear life.)
He's even got the Mario toys from McDonalds! Used to have the koopa trooper and the Goomba, but they're gone at this point.
This picture... it's just too beautiful....

Seen this collection in passing a few times, but having recently come into possession of an Atari CX2600-A from a member of my church, or known to collectors as a 4 switch woody, I did some research and apparently the six switch woody you have there is like the holy grail among atari collectors. From what I was told, it was produced only the first year of Atari was making consoles. It gives me a new appreciation both for video gaming history and for this image.
Kudos if that'a working jaguar CD :D
I own a few items not in there, namely a gray Mega Drive 3 with builtin games, a Phantom System, An MVS board and a Neo-Geo CD.
Why didn't you put the neogeo in there? It would be an item of pride in my collection if I had one. I hope I can get myself a Walnut Analogue CMVS someday ^.^

Well, you are all set up to become the next game grumps knockoffs.. need your own Barry? ;p
Your collection easily trumps mine. Things in there that I've only seen in photos.
It's a great hobby, all right.

This is REALLY impressive.
I actually had somehow been ignorant of the Sega CDX that you've got the 6-Pak plugged into- the one that's the Mega Drive AND a Sega CD in the same unit, learned something today! And I'd entirely forgotten that they had a different version of the Mega CD for the first-gen Genesis.
Also...oh-how-ironic that the Atari legacy in the back ends with "The Toilet". :p

Let's see... where's the Atari 7800- there it is.
By the way, I really hope that this is all insured. I'd hate to see all this history get caught in an unlikely tragic fire event or theft. :(

Thanks why I ave many backups and other storage but yeah the 7800 is in my room next to me PC and stuff thats plug in as I play alot of homebrew games at the time I took this shot^_^
Interested in PS2 games? I have about 100 PS2 games, and I could sell a few.
I saw all of these at E3 ^~^
The person who did the voice of Mario was there it was pretty cool.

*sighs wistfully* Intellivision. I remember playing that every weekend at the friend's house. Heh... until I got the incredibly powerful Vic-20
I still love playing both the Intellivision and vic-20 and C64^_^
C64 Mine got left behind during a move... was heartbroken. So many amazing games.
You, sir, are a god among gamers. Shall I sacrifice an animal to you?
*lays it before you* Enjoy, your Highness. I've always loved old games!
I seriously admired your dedication, if I could have this kind of skill and the money for them I would be at good enough level of collecting classic game consoles to new game consoles.
You are missing a really rare system. I have it in my collection.
O.O Wow. And I thought I had a lot of stuff.
Though I have both lynxes, a Jaguar with Alpine board, STacy and Sparrow. :3

Have you had any of these game consoles appraised? They could be worth a lot of money.
There are tears coming from my eyes and a river of drool flowing from my mouth.
Gaming heavens. ^^ that's quite the collections there. I've been born in 1984 So hehe the very first game consoles are way out of my reach that time hehe. But yeah Ive played allot on the Nintendo Nes, Snes, Gameboy Classic, Gameboy pocket. Then PS1 PS2 PS3 and now PS4, Played even on Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, GBA GBA SP NDS 3DS. ^^ And yeah and Xbox, Xbox360 and not really own a Xbox 1.
In my childhood i even played on my dads MSX and MSX 2

You have almost every console made,I have my eyes on my own systems though most of them will be customized by me.
Get about a dozen more systems, and you'll be at AVGN levels as far as consoles go.
Some are just very lucky to get something like this. Nice collection.
Super Awesome collection...I collect computers, and have from a Commodore 64 to a intel I7 NDA system and a new Ryzen 5 i am running right now. just cant seem to part with them! :D
