The winner of the Seventh Tasmanian Drama Festival, the Catherine Duncan Cup, was the Launceston Players with Family Album. The Launceston Players regional award was won by the Hagley Dramatic Club with A Certain Man and the Junior award went to the G.V. Brooks Community School for The Ugly Duckling.
