Description The centre of the play is Spud, she's lost her mother and now lives with her dad Gary who is more and more busy with work and a new relationship...Spud craves attention from her father, needing to talk and discuss her mother's death.
Originally written as a TIE production.
"...it is only when she meets May, an old woman confined to a wheelchair, that Spud is helped to face her anger and resolve her ever-simmering conflict with her father" (Ann Nugent, on a 1994 production of the play).
