Two rival fixers.
That's all I knew.
It starts fine.
The problem is, the wolves are quiet, nondescript fixers. A fixer is boring. Efficient, thorough, quiet, boring.
So there was not a lot really happening, especially (!) as they are so alike.
Underplayed coolness and reactions were fine. Clooney and Pitt acting what I exoected, good. But too slow and gooey a script, and not much happening, and what happened was pretty predictable.
That door of that restaurant that the kid ran out of - nah, not buying it that it wasn't locked. They didn't show it as an emergency exit. The slow-mo of the somersault was too long and did not fit the style of the movie imo.
The redeeming factor was the kid, he was fun, and real, and top-notch-acted. Assoon as he starts talking I was invested again.
All the twists were meh, the visit with the father a mystery and the ending lame.
But there are much worse movies out there, so it's okay. I was entertained, not greatly, but okay-ly.
