Jess Brown(IV)

Jess Brown is a Victoria, B.C born actor. Her passion for the arts started from a very early age as she pursued her dream of Musical Theatre on Broadway. Much of her free time as a teenager/young adult was spent in her happy place, rehearsal, performing in 3-5 musical theatre shows a year with various companies while also dancing full time with a competitive dance company. As a young adult Jess took off on a nation-wide magic tour assisting in illusions and adding dance entertainment. Upon her return her focus took a shift as an injury prevented her from continuing to pursue her dance/musical focused career. Her desire to continue as an artist found her in weekly acting classes for film and television. From there Jess was sought out to study at the Victoria Academy of Dramatic Arts receiving a scholarship for their full time film acting program. Upon graduation she made the transition to Vancouver to pursue a career in film and television. She started working in the film industry immediately and aside from a few year break, her career has continued on a steady upward trajectory. Jess' days are often spent working on projects, auditioning, ongoing studying, helping other actors by providing private coaching and of course hanging out with her pride and joy, her dog. She enjoys continuing to learn more skills to add to her artistic tool belt, teaching herself guitar, riding horses, learning combat for film and writing her own screenplay, to name a few.
