We don't have to wonder if Superman & Lois will be cancelled this time, as it's already been revealed that season four is the end. For what it's worth, The CW didn't cancel it as much as Warner Bros Television didn't want the show to continue. A Superman feature film is coming in 2025 and the character's owner didn't want two versions in the marketplace at the same time. If the final season of Superman & Lois is popular enough in the ratings, could the series be revived someday? Stay tuned.

The final season of any beloved series always feels bittersweet, but it feels doubly so for Superman & Lois. On top of the fan-favorite adaptation being cut from its planned seven-season run to just four, the end of the series also represents the end of a long-standing partnership between DC Comics and The CW.
The network first collaborated with DC for 2001’s Smallville back when it was still called The WB Network and hit the zenith of its partnership with the Arrowverse beginning in 2012. Though not set in the Arrowverse continuity, Superman & Lois is the last remaining vestige of it and the DC/CW partnership as a whole. Once it’s done, that’s it.

Avatar Kyoshi is widely regarded as one of the strongest incarnations of the Avatar. She was decisive in her role as the peacekeeper between the spirits and the four nations. As the Earth Bending Avatar, she was the predecessor to Avatar Roku, the founder of the Dai Li and the Kyoshi Warriors, and lived up to the age of 230 years.
Kyoshi in the Avatar: The Last Airbender saga
At 230, Kyoshi was the most long-lived human that we have seen in the show. While earthbenders tend to have an unusually long lifespan in Avatar: The Last Airbender (such as Bumi still being one of the strongest Earthbenders at 112 years old), the novels might have revealed how Kyoshi might have unlocked the power to live for as long as she did.

The live-action adaptation of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” has now landed on Netflix! Based on the beloved animated series, the show dives into a world where nations clash based on their mastery of the elements.
While the Fire Nation burns, the Earth Kingdom crumbles, and the Water Tribes struggle to survive, the once-peaceful Air Nomads seem all but extinguished. But hope arrives in the form of Aang, a young boy who discovers he’s the last Airbender and the Avatar, the only one who can bridge the divides and restore balance.
While the latest Netflix series might be subject to mixed reviews, fans certainly have nothing to complain about the cast. Their chemistry has helped bring the epic story into live-action.

Despite the disappointing reviews of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, one character gave a peak moment in the series for the fandom. Yvonne Chapman played Avatar Kyoshi, a past Avatar two reigns before Aang and the Last Earthbender, in the series. Kyoshi had a more prominent role than in the animated series, which only featured her in four episodes during its three-season run.

In the canon of great television intros, few hit harder than the opening number of Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Each episode of the animated series begins with a brief rundown of the show’s setting and concept, as recited by the character Katara (voiced by Mae Whitman). In just under a minute, Katara gets viewers up to date with everything they need to know to enjoy the proceedings, saying:
“Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar – an Airbender named Aang. And although his airbending skills are great he has a lot to learn before he’s ready to save anyone. But...

This post contains spoilers for "Avatar: The Last Airbender."
Can we get a yip-yip? After quite a long wait, the celebrated children's series "Avatar: The Last Airbender" has taken the massive leap from animation to live-action. Although mileage may vary on exactly how well Netflix pulled off this ambitious feat of adaptation, the characters that fans have known and loved have all been reimagined through the lens of a much more streamlined and straightforward version of the same story.
The debut season follows Aang (Gordon Cormier), the reincarnated Avatar and master of the four elements, as he struggles to come to grips with his disappearance from the world a hundred years prior. The stunning opening sequence of the premiere depicts this very event in all its tragic detail, beginning with Aang's reveal that he is the long-prophesied savior of the world and continuing through to the conquering Fire Nation's genocide of the airbenders.

Well, a lot of our favorite Riverdale characters are dead when this week’s episode opens… but luckily, people don’t stay dead in Riverdale for long.
We pick up with Cheryl mourning at the grave of Nana Rose, who was struck down by Percival’s plague that also took the lives of first-born kids Archie, Jughead, Toni, Fangs and Dagwood. (But Baby Anthony is still alive. Hmmm.) “We weren’t quite yet worm food,” though, Jughead assures us in narration from beyond the grave. [Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Kung Fu Season 2 Finale] The Season 2 finale of The CW‘s martial arts drama Kung Fu left viewers reeling on Wednesday, June 15, as Zhilan (Yvonne Chapman) sacrificed herself to defeat the evil Russell Tan. The heartbreaking scenes certainly left their mark on the show’s star. “I was sobbing reading the finale when she said, ‘Go home, little monk,'” Olivia Liang, who plays Nicky, told TVLine. “I was like, ‘Man, how has that now become a term of endearment when [Zhilan has] been poking fun at Nicky for being a Shaolin [practitioner]?'” Nicky and Zhilan had been adversaries throughout the series, but in the Season 2 finale, Zhilan made a heroic gesture, sacrificing herself to trap Russell Tan in the Source Realm. This gave enough time for Nicky and her cousin Mia (Vanessa Yao) to make it back to the real world before the realm closed. Whether this is truly the end...

After the last live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, aka 2010's divisive M. Night Shyamalan film, we weren't sure there'd ever be another attempt. Netflix first announced its live-action series adaptation back in 2018, however, the original show creators later exited the project due to a deal with ViacomCBS. Thankfully, the streaming giant has finally managed to get its flying bison off the ground as it now has Sleepy Hollow's Albert Kim serving as showrunner.
"This was a chance to showcase Asian and Indigenous characters as living, breathing people," Kim said in a blog post. "Not just in a cartoon, but in a world that truly exists, very similar to the one we live in. . . . Authenticity is what keeps us going, both in front of the camera and behind it, which is why we've assembled a team unlike any seen before - a group of talented and passionate artists...
