Stephanie Guest(II)
- Actress
Stephanie Guest was born in Edmonton, Alberta to parents Ron and Sueann. Although she resides in Toronto, Ontario now, she grew up in Oakville surrounded by her very supportive family and friends.
Her first love was musical theatre. By the age of 5 she could sing every word to "All That Jazz" and was a little bit shy to perform for an audience but delighted herself and her family with funny songs and stories all the time.
In high school Stephanie became obsessed with the world of dance and anything musical theatre. Drama class was her favorite and after school hours and weekends were devoted to dance classes at the Canadian Dance Company. It was there that she emerged herself in the hard regime of rigorous training and competing to gain the best technique and performance skill she could. Her eyes were set on Sheridan College but St. Lawrence College offered her a talent bursary after auditioning for their three year musical theatre program. Along with accepting the bursary offer, she also took a part time teaching position at the college to help other students after school hours to work on technique.
In her 3 years at SLC, she performed in countless shows while auditioning for professional work on the weekends in Toronto.
She now lives downtown Toronto and has recently had the pleasure of attending various film festivals to promote the indie film Scratch. Her current focus is to gain exposure in the film and TV industry as an actress. With aspirations to one day host SNL, Stephanie continues to make her friends laugh and create a life where she can be the multi-faceted artist that life has shaped her into.
