Roshan Gidwani was born in Bangkok, Thailand on the 23rd of June, 1991. Then his family migrated to Jakarta, Indonesia till he was 3 years old. After Indonesia, he lived in Singapore till he was 4 and a half years old.
His family then moved to Sydney, Australia till he was 9 and a half. It was in Sydney that Roshan's fondness for Acting began. He joined his school's drama clubs and started starring in school productions. After Australia, Roshan moved back to Singapore for a year and a half. Subsequently, at the age of 11 his family moved to Guangzhou, China where Roshan attended an International School and continued to study Drama. He made new friends from all over the world and decided to turn his passion for acting into a profession. He began starring in commercials for the Guangzhou English Channel and began modelling also.
Roshan returned to Singapore at the age of 17 and a half, because he had to enlist in Singapore's compulsory military service for 2 years. Graduating from the National University of Singapore having studied Drama, Roshan's passion for interacting with people from different walks of life is infinite. He's a caring, compassionate and energised soul. So far, he has starred in Faeryville (Feature Film), Drive Me Crazy (Sitcom-13 Episodes) and countless other commercials and TV Shows.
