Miya George

Miya George is an actress and model mainly working in the Malayalam film industry. She completed her schooling at Sacred Hearts Girls High School and St Mary's Higher Secondary School. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Alphonsa College and a Master's degree in English Literature from St. Thomas College, Palai.

George began her acting career by appearing in small roles in television and films like Oru Small Family (2010), Doctor Love (2011), and Ee Adutha Kaalath (2012).

However, it was in 2012 that she gained popularity after being selected as Kerala Miss Fitness. In the same year, her career saw a breakthrough, and she went on to portray her first lead role in a Malayalam film, Chettayees (2012).

Her filmography includes successful movies like Memories (2013), Paavada (2016), and Brother's Day (2019). She has played diverse roles and worked with several stars, including Mohanlal, a notable name in Malayalam films.

Driving Licence (2019), Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal (2018), and The Great Father (2017) are some of her more famous works.

George's performances have won her many accolades. She won the Jaycee Foundation Special Jury Award for her performances in Vishudhan (2013) and the TNSFA 2015 Best Actress Tamil, and Behindwoods Gold Medal 2015 Award for Best Actress Critics choice for her role in the movie Amara Kaaviyam (2014).

George married businessman Ashwin Philip in 2020 and has a son from this marriage.
